Yoga Retreat
Overview
This guided yoga and relaxation retreat is set in the grounds of the Logis de Bacchus, a traditional French Logis located in the small village of Vaux-Rouillac, outside of Cognac town.
Each day you will have yoga sessions and other guided activities such as gong baths and cacao ceremonies in our dedicated yoga studio (or in the grounds of the Logis weather permitting). There will also be daily excursions to local brocantes, nature trails and beaches to help you fully relax and enjoy the best that Charente has to offer.
Tickets:
Our first retreat is from Friday 9th May to Tuesday 13th May 2025. As this retreat has a minimum number of participants required to run, please register your interest by emailing us at info@charentetours.com and we will be in touch.
Cost:
The retreat costs £699 per person.
Location:
The Logis de Bacchus, is a neo-classical, renaissance style mansion built in 1851 from the stones of a 14th century Château. Originally a Cognac and Cigar producing estate, it has been lovingly renovated to become a multipurpose retreat space, hosting yoga, art, and cycling workshops, as well as simply being the perfect base from which to explore the history, beauty and grandeur of the Cognac region.
Located in the Cognac countryside, surrounded by vineyards and rustic French villages, the estate provides an idyllic space with generous enclosed private grounds, gardens and outbuildings, available for multiple creative uses.
Just one hour from Bordeaux by train, two hours from Paris by train, or 90 minutes from La Rochelle or Limoges airports, the region boasts a microclimate with the most sunshine of the Atlantic coastal region.
Meals:
Freshly prepared meals are made at the Logis daily, using the best local produce Charente has to offer. Three healthy, vegetarian meals will be provided daily (except on excursion days when lunch is at an excursion location) as well as healthy snacks and soft drinks throughout the day.
In keeping with the local style, lunch is typically the largest meal of the day with the evening meal of aperos being a light supper.
If you have any dietary requirements please let us know at info@charentetours.com and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
